- Pro bono counsel to a not-for-profit organization that accelerates social change, and invests in and supports outstanding emerging social entrepreneurs to launch new organizations that deliver bold, high-impact solutions.
- Represented a pioneering non-profit organization, using new technologies to facilitate dialogue between students from diverse backgrounds across the globe.
- Represented a not-for-profit organization in its mission to nurture girls from low-income families in New York to help them achieve their full potential and become active members of their communities by building academic and social competence.
- Pro bono counsel to The Bronx School for Law, Government & Justice, providing mentorship to students interested in pursuing a career in the law.
- Advised clients in the New York City Family Court Self-Represented Legal Services Project including providing an assessment of the client’s potential legal remedies, suggestions for collecting and preserving evidence.
- Provide ongoing volunteer service to New York Cares in its community service initiatives.
- Pro bono counsel to an organization that provides a range of legal services to immigrant victims of domestic violence or human trafficking. Assisted clients with green cards, work permits, and other immigration benefits that will allow them to stay in the United States legally.
- Represented the largest provider of legal services exclusively for victims of domestic violence in the United States.
- Provided comprehensive, culturally, and linguistically sensitive legal advice, assistance, and representation to domestic violence victims in cases involving divorce, child custody/visitation, child and spousal support, immigration, and prosecution of batterers in criminal matters.
